Update on the CVS Diaper Deal

June 9, 2009

As of yesterday, CVS realized their mistake and pulled the ECB deal on the Pampers.  They are still priced at $8.99 this week though, which is decent with a coupon.  I was lucky enough to get 2 pack on Sunday.  Did anyone else get in on the great deal?

KMart Double Coupon Days

June 9, 2009

For some reason, the Indiana KMarts around here never seem to participate in double coupon days. This is frustrating! Anyhoo… yesterday, Melissa and I took a drive to the Homewood KMart and scored some fabulous deals. Here they are…

IMG_4156

Transaction #1 went like this…

5 Packs of Pull-Ups $49.95

1 Tub Huggies Wipes $2.99

1$5/50 KMart coupon

5 $2 Pull-Ups coupons that doubled to $4 each ($20)

1 75 cents off wipes coupon that doubled to $1.50

Paid $26.44 plus some tax… Got a coupon for $14 OYNO!!!  So, including tax, it was about $16 for FIVE packs of Pull-Ups AND a tub of wipes.

I actually did this transaction 3 times 🙂

Then I moved on to the cheapies & freebies…

Pretzel Flipz $1.14 minus 50 cent Q=14 cents!

2 Bic Soleil Razors with refill $2.50 each minus $2 Q each=FREE!

24 Packs Extra Gum minus 12 BOGO coupons (they doubled!)=FREE!

3 Kotex Pantiliners $1.29 each minus $1 Q and $1.50/2Q=FREE!

2 A1 Marinade $2.99 minus $2 Q each=FREE!

2 St. Ives Apricot Scrub (for the nieces) $3.69 minus $1.50 Q each=69 cents!

1 Cover Girl Tinted Lip Balm $4.49 minus $2 Q=49 cents!

1 Max Factor Mascara $5.49 minus $2 Q=$1.49

1 Max Factor Eyelash Curler (my lashes were hitting my glasses!) $5.49 minus $2 Q=$1.49

4 French’s Mustard $1.49 minus 75 cent Q each=FREE!

1 Lipton Tea 16 pack $1.09 minus 60 cent Q=FREE!

1 Soap Saver Mesh Sponge 99 cents

The coupons I used were all printables or from recent newspapers.  All in all, I paid just over $5 for the Freebies & Cheapies, with a savings of over $120!!!  AND I got coupons for $3, $1, and $1 on my next order.  Those I can use at our KMart here.  Not a bad trip!

Cheap Diapers!

June 8, 2009

Okay, there are a few fabulous diaper deals this week. First off, CVS has an unadvertised deal on their website this week. Buy a pack of Pampers or Easy Ups for $8.99, get $5 ECBs back! Limit 3. That’s just $3.99 without coupons, but there was a $1 coupon in yesterday’s paper. Bring a copy of the website in with you. They weren’t aware of the deal, and the ECBs didn’t print for me, but when I showed them, they honored it. For some reason, this website won’t let me put in the link, but go to http://www.cvs.com and click on the Pampers for the page.

I’m headed out for a big shop, and I hope to post my Meijer deals and KMart double coupon deals later today!

Huggies Deal at Babies R Us

May 22, 2009

Huggies Pure and Natural Diapers - Size 1 - Kimberly Clark Corp. - Babies"R"Us

Today through Monday, Huggies Diapers, PullUps, and GoodNites have an instant savings of $5 off Mega and Jumbo packs.  Keep in mind, the cheapest way to get diapers is always to get the smallest pack on sale and with a coupon (cheaper than Sam’s or Costco).

The online price for the Jumbo pack of Pure & Natural diapers is $11.99.  I’m not sure what it is in stores, but even if it was $11.99, that’s $9.49… after your $3 coupon from recent papers, $6.49 is pretty good for a pack of Huggies.

Enjoy the Ride

May 17, 2009

Huggies recently started up a rewards program for purchasing Huggies products.  You enter your codes for points, which can be redeemed for prizes.  Because they are new, they are really pushing the program.  Deal Seeking Mom did a great post, and I just signed up and earned 90 points without buying a single pack of Huggies!  Check out this post and give it a try!
